1. Explain the process you went through to develop your drawing.

I outlined all of the different values and then i transfered the values to my sketchbook.  I thought out if i wanted it to be lighter or darker and i wanted it darker and then i shaded the values in.

2. Explain how you found the different values in the portrait?
We used tracing paper and held it over the photo on a window and then traced the values.

3.  Did you achieve a full range of the different values within your portrait?  How?
Yes, because there were a lot of darks and less brights but i tried to work in more light shading and there are a lot of darks in the hair and brights on the face.

4. Describe your craftsmanship.  Is the artwork executed and crafted neatly?
It is not executed well and it was crafted neatly and i think i could have done better on the value portrait.

5. List any obstacles you had to overcome and how you dealt with them.
I shaded too dark in some areas so i had to erase and reshade the values. I also missed a couple of values so i added them in as i went along.
